To ensure that the local community has as much information about the project as possible, an unprecedented level of consultation has taken place over the last few years.

There have been scores of public meetings, as well as various meetings with community councils, environmental groups and other stakeholders. We've kept the community informed through the Viking Energy website and regular press release in the local papers. We have also undertaken a series of learning journeys, taking various elected representatives including councillors, community councillors and local media to several Scottish wind farms to give them first-hand experience of what's involved.
