The Viking Windfarm is being developed on behalf of the people of Shetland to try to ensure that a substantial proportion of the wealth creation potential of the Shetland environment stay here for the benefit of the local community. It is therefore extremely important that the Shetland public are kept up-to-date and involved with progress.
It is not the intention of this website merely to inform but also to test public opinion and begin a process of identifying and exploring issues of concern assisted by the studied factual information brought out by the Environmental Impact Assessment.
There are a number of ways people in Shetland can contribute to the decision-making process including direct feedback via this website. The consultation questionnaire will remain active until just before any planning submission.
