08 March 2013 - Viking says its wind farm is an exemplary model for building on peat land
On April 4, Viking Energy was granted permission to build what will be one of the most productive wind farms in the world.
It will use tried and tested technology to harness an outstanding wind resource, for the benefit of the people of Shetland.
Permission was granted for 103 turbines.
