It is extremely important that the Shetland community is kept fully informed of the concept, reasoning and progress of the Viking Energy project. Regular news reports will appear as the project advances towards a planning submission.
Viking Energy will use the media to ensure every method is used to keep the public informed of events. A record of relevant press releases has been stored for information.
Several forms of consultation, stakeholder discussion and public interaction will have to take place prior to the submission of a planning application. Public events will be advertised but a list of previous and forthcoming events is presented from information.
